摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten synchronizing time in a synchronized mesh mechanism, so as to shorten the period of the occurrence of thrust-in shock caused by discontinuance of driving force to a wheel during speed change carried out by disengaging an automatic clutch. SOLUTION: When shifting a gear between forward motion stages, corresponding coupling sleeves 19, 20 and 21 are made to stroke in the corresponding direction with an automatic clutch 4 disconnected, thereafter re-engaging the automatic clutch 4. When disconnecting the automatic clutch 4 during gear shift, an input shaft 1 is rotated through gears 28, 24 and 7 by motor 29, such that the relative rotation between rotation members to be coupled with coupling sleeves 19, 20, and 21 becomes zero. Synchronization operation of the synchronized mesh mechanism is reduced, so as to shorten synchronizing time, which leads to reengagement of the automatic clutch 4 at an early stage, thereby shortening the period of occurrence of thrust-in shock, caused by discontinuity in driving force.
