PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower loaded and carried on the back type work machine capable of very easily removing dead leaves and other dirt captured and absorbed without interrupting the work, and of restricting a decrease in air sucking efficiency of the blower while securing safety. SOLUTION: An air suction hole 13 faces a portion against one's back 1 of a carrying frame on the back B, outer peripheries X-X and Y-Y of members 14, 18a, 20 and 21 arranged at the air suction gap S between the portion against one's back 1 and the blower 10 is surrounded by a filter member 24, but it is more desired to comprise the filter 24 with a flexible band-shaped member 26 having many through holes 25 and a brush-shaped member 31 attached with hair 30 radially having adequate rigidity to a core member 29 having flexibility, and the filter members 24 are arranged in a freely detachable manner.
