PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a release cock operatable by many and unspecified persons in an emergency and non-operatable by many and unspecified persons at the time of traveling. SOLUTION: A locking device 7 for regulating rotation of a handle 6 is provided in the vicinity of the handle 6 for operating the release cock 4 for emergency provided in a pipe of an air cylinder for opening/closing a side sliding door 1. The locking device 7 is provided with an electric circuit 16 for making the handle 6 into a locking state when a train has more than fixed traveling speed. As a manual release mechanism for releasing the locking state, a push-button 12 is provided.
