APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING DISCHARGE AMOUNT OF INK JET HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head which can be utilized for a thin film- applying apparatus, a color filter-manufacturing apparatus or the like by suppressing dispersions in the discharge amount of liquid drops discharged from each nozzle. SOLUTION: Liquid drops are discharged at constant time intervals from nozzles and taken as an image. The image is analyzed, and flying characteristics of the liquid drops are calculated from only positions of the liquid drops in the image and compared with a target value. The discharge amount of each nozzle is adjusted to be constant in this manner.
