PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable phone for use in an emergency of an elevator capable of being easily installed in an elevator if an installation area is within a communicable area, capable of immediately communicating with the outside even if accidentally confined in a car, allowing to rapidly copy with failure, and capable of providing an easiness also for people confined in the car. SOLUTION: A phone number of a destination is registered in a body beforehand, and the body is installed on the wall surface of the elevator by drilling holes therein. A power supply is drawn from a 100 V power source inside the elevator car. For the installation, special screws 1 are used so as not to be easily removed.
