PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding nozzle plate which has sufficient spalling resistance, high high-temperature strength and satisfactory corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: In the sliding nozzle plate for continuous casting, a refractory ring containing chromium oxide is set at least in a part of the inner port part in the sliding nozzle plate body.
