<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device with which a retractor, that surely can limit an energy absorption stroke without increasing a size, is provided. SOLUTION: The seat belt device is provided with a bobbin 13, a reeling-up shaft 12, which is mounted to the center of the bobbin, and at the same time, of which one end side is joined to the bobbin 13 and supported freely rotatably, a locking device 15, which is integrally joined to the other end side of the reeling-up shaft, and the retractor 10 for the seat belt which absorbs an impact energy by generation of a torsional deformation of the reeling-up shaft 12 at the time of operation of an emergency locking means. The locking device 15 has a cylindrical part 15b, which extends in the axial direction of the bobbin 13 and of which the outer circumference is threaded, and a stopper member 17, which can move in the axial direction of the cylindrical part 15b by being screwed on the outer circumference of the cylindrical part and rotating, and, the stopper member has a body 17a screwed to the cylindrical part 15 and an engagement projection 17b protruded at least in the axial direction from the body, and, an axial hole 13b, to which the engagement projection 17b is fitted, is provided to the bobbin 13.</p> |
