PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently ensure strength of a hearth which is made of a castable. SOLUTION: A rotary hearth 2 is constituted of a refractory castable CA and provided with ceramic anchors 9 in an outer peripheral part 21 thereof. The ceramic anchors 9 each have a shape of a pillar and are provided in the peripheral part 21 with an interval therebetween, radially extending from inside towards an upper edge corner part 211 with their tips being close to the outer surface of the corner part 211.
