PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for toothpaste, which can scrape and remove food residues and dental plaque and can adsorb and remove stains and odor components in the mouth cavity. SOLUTION: The composition for the toothpaste contains charcoal powder having a particle distribution range of 0.5-50μm. The composition is characterized by that the charcoal powder collapses within the composition, by applying a load of 600 g, to smaller particles having a particle distribution range of 0.1-2μm.
