PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide one optical fiber for two-way full-duplex optical communication that makes good use of features of a multi-unit optical fiber cable by using an optical fiber cable which has many coated optical fibers which are not completely parallel to one another. SOLUTION: Optical transmitter receivers each consisting of a transmitter which transmits a light signal and a receiver which receives the transmitted light signal are optically connected to each other through one multi-unit optical fiber cable 1. The coated optical fibers (represented by numbers 1, 2, 3, etc.), in the optical fiber cable 1 are arranged concentrically in its section so that coated optical fibers arranged on even-numbered circumferences from the center are arranged in parallel to one another and coated optical fibers arranged on odd-numbered circumferences from the center are arranged in parallel to one another while those even-numbered coated optical fibers and odd-numbered coated optical fibers are rotated at a prescribed angle between one end and the other end of the optical fiber cable 1.
