PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-shrinkable film and a packaging method enabling the disposition of printed letters such as a trade name at the front end of a package. SOLUTION: In this packing method, a heat-shrinkable film with a thermal shrinkage of 40-80% in a first direction and a thermal shrinkage of 24-40% in a second direction is employed, the heat-shrinkable film is curved in a first direction to cover an object to be packaged from its front end side so that the second direction orthogonal to the first direction goes along the object to be packed toward its rear end side, and both sides of the heat shrinkable film are bonded together before heating the whole to carry out the heat shrinkage of the heat-shrinkable film. The method improves not only appearance but also commercial value, since the printed letters (trade name) or the like on the heat shrinkable film can be disposed at the front end of the object to be packaged. |
