PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording ink set and an ink jet recording method, with which a high grade image excellent in dispersion stability and discharge stability, having no bleeding developing to plain paper and recycled paper and having high printing density and excellent color developing properties can be obtained. SOLUTION: By the ink jet recording method including a process for forming an aggregate by bringing an ink composition at least including a coloring agent prepared by covering a coloring material with a polymer having an anionic group, a water-soluble solvent and the water and an ink composition at least including a coloring agent prepared by covering the coloring material with a polymer having a cationic group, the water-soluble solvent and the water into contact with each other on a recording medium, the high grade image having neither bleed nor color bleed nor the like developing to the recording medium such as plain paper, recycled paper or the like and having high printing density and excellent color developing properties can be obtained. |
