PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing utensil with a cap which can be easily removed by one hand. SOLUTION: A marker 21 for a white board is constituted of a body part 21a, a cap 21b and a fixing member 21C which is fitted to the tip of the cap 21b and has a tacky sheet. In addition, the marker 21 for a white board is fixed onto a support such as a board surface 12a or a tray surface 14 of the white board 11 through the tacky sheet during using the white board marker 21. When writing is performed on the board surface 12a, only the body part 21a can be removed while the cap 21b is left alone on the support side by grasping and pulling the body part 21a by one hand.
