PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a tire during high speed running and the stability of the tire during turn-running in a well-balanced state. SOLUTION: This tire for motorcycle is provided with a carcass 6 and a belt layer 7, which is arranged outside the carcass in the radial direction. The belt layer 7 comprises a narrow and long strip ply wound around the tire in its external peripheral direction spirally. A tread rubber 2G has a tread face 2S and includes a cap rubber layer 2A made of rubber whose durometer A hardness ranges from 50 to 60 deg. and a base rubber layer 2B, which is arranged inside the cap rubber layer 2A in its radial direction and the durometer A hardness of the rubber of which is larger than that of the rubber of the cap rubber layer 2A. The tread rubber 2G is provided with a ply separating rubber layer 9 including a tread section 2 and extending in the axial direction of the tire between the carcass 6 and the belt layer 7. |
