INSTALLATION STRUCTURE OF CARBURETOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in the side width of an engine by minimizing the thickness of insulating material which is inserted between a cylinder block and a carburetor, and to prevent a temperature rise of the carburetor by inhibiting thermal conduction from the engine body to the carburetor. SOLUTION: A plurality of jutting portions 27c for fitting jutted out from a peripheral wall of the cylinder block 9 as a part of the engine body 1 are installed. Insulating material 29 having an air-fuel mixture pass 32 connected to an intake port 19 which is formed in the cylinder block 9 is installed on a jutting portion for fitting 27c and the carburetor 2 is installed to the insulating material 29. Since the insulating material 29 is not in contact directly with the peripheral wall of the cylinder block 9 and a contact area of the insulating material 29 and the engine body 1 becomes small, though in the case of small thickness of the insulating material 29, thermal conduction from the engine body 1 side to the insulating material 29 is decreased, thermal conduction to the carburetor 2 installed to the insulating material 29 is also decreased.
