PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet supply device capable of detecting the sheet even if the sheet is set in any place to correct skewing the sheet, and to provide a processing device. SOLUTION: This sheet supply device is provided with a sheet carrying surface 24, a skew correcting means 36 for correcting skewing of the sheet, while carrying the sheet supplied to the sheet carrying surface, and a sheet supply sensor 42 for detecting existence of the sheet supplied to the sheet carrying surface at several positions with a space in the vertical direction in relation to the sheet carrying direction. Quantity of the sheets to be carried by the skew correcting means is decided in response to an output from the sheet supply sensor.
