PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a water-soluble embossed film excellent in blocking resistance, free from shining, giving high quality feeling and excellent in pin hole resistance. SOLUTION: Embossing process is carried out by passing a water-soluble film between an embossed roll marked with uneven shape having satin patterns and a back up roll to form the satin patterns with the surface roughness (Ra) 0.1-8μm and the uneven pattern with less than 100 meshes and 50-300μm deep.
