PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cold storage agent mounting type cold storage box in which the rate of operation is enhanced by improving the shelf board structure and the physical distribution cost is reduced. SOLUTION: In a cold storage box where a cold storage agent is mounted on a shelf board 6 arranged in the inner space 4, fixing height of the shelf board 6 can be altered. When the shelf board 6 is set on the upper side and the cold storage agent is mounted thereon, the cold storage box can be used as a cold storage box. When the shelf board 6 is set on the lower side in order to enlarge the upper space and the entire inner space 4 is used effectively as a containing space, the cold storage box can be used as a containing box with high containing efficiency. Since the cold storage box can be used not only as a cold storage box but also as a containing box, total rate of operation of the cold storage box is enhanced and the physical distribution cost is reduced in a physical distribution system employing the cold storage box.
