PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic agent, an antistatic agent composition and an antistatic resin composition having excellent antistatic properties and further excellent heat resistance. SOLUTION: This antistatic agent comprises a compound represented by formula (1) (wherein, R<1> CO denotes a 6-24C acyl group which may have hydroxy group; R<2> denotes a 1-3C alkyl group; and R<3> denotes a 1-6C alkylene group or a 2-6C alkenylene group). The antistatic agent composition comprises the compound represented by formula (1) and a fatty acid monoglyceride of a 12-22C fatty acid. The antistatic resin composition is obtained by compounding the antistatic agent or the antistatic agent composition with a thermoplastic resin.
