PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arch structure of an automatic packing machine which has secure charging of a band to the total length of a band introduction groove even with a twist or wind at the end of the band and does not require rigidity in a mechanism for providing a lateral movement of an arch. SOLUTION: A band introduction groove 5 which opens at one side surface is formed on an arch 2, an arch cover 8 opposing an opened surface of the band introduction groove 5 of the arch 2 is raised and fixed, lower parts of both sides of an arch frame 6 fixed on the outside of the arch 2 so as to integrally moved therewith are supported by guide mechanisms 7 for introducing the lateral movement of the arch 2, arch pins 23 for removing a band A from the band introduction groove 5 can be moved to the arch cover 8, and even if the arch 2 is made of a single material, the frictional resistance between the arch pins 23 and pin inserting holes is reduced to simplify a lateral movement mechanism 14 of the arch 2.
