PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator which can suppress the suction of a liquid refrigerant into a compressor even when the amount of oil returned to the compressor is increased. SOLUTION: In a refrigerant lead-out pipe 23 whereby a gaseous refrigerant separated into gas and liquid in a vessel 21 of the accumulator 5 is led out to a compressor 1, a restricting part 27 restricting the cross-sectional area of a passage at a portion provided with an oil return hole 25 is formed. In the restricting part 27, the flow velocity of the gaseous refrigerant running through the refrigerant lead-out pipe 23 increases and the pressure thereof is lowered by the Verneuil effect. Accordingly, a pressure difference between the inside and the outside becomes large in the vicinity of the oil return hole 25 of the refrigerant lead-out tube 23 and the amount of suction of the mixed liquid of the liquid refrigerant and the oil from the oil return hole 25 can be increased, while the sucked liquid refrigerant can be vaporized to be the gaseous refrigerant by the lowered pressure.
