PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoresis apparatus capable of reducing time and trouble of work in the IGCR method for example. SOLUTION: The electrophoresis apparatus includes gel 100 in which a sample containing a DNA is moved using the electrophoresis method, an energizing means 3 which energizes the gel 100 and can invert the polarity, and a temperature control means 4 which controls the temperature of the gel 100 by heating and cooling it. In the electrophoresis apparatus, the gel 100 is energized by the energizing means 3, and the sample is moved in the gel 100 using the electrophoresis method, and thereby the DNA is separated in the gel 100. Next, the gel 100 is heated by the temperature control means 4, and then the gel 100 is cooled, and the separated DNA is thus denatured in the gel 100, and then the reassociation is carried out. Then, the polarity is inverted by the energizing means 3 to energize the gel 100, and the DNA in which the reassociation has occurred is moved in the gel 100 using the electrophoresis method in the direction opposite to that of the preceding electrophoresis and withdrawn from the gel 100. |
