PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the dust-proof ability of a scanner by softening negative pressure generated by the high speed rotation of a rotary polygon mirror and reducing air flowing into a negative pressure part from the outside on the inside of the scanner. SOLUTION: The negative pressure is softened by making a negative pressure generation part at the rear end of an optical box communicate with the almost center part of the optical box through an air duct and supplying air at a positive pressure part to the negative pressure part. |
