PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map data display system capable of easily reducing the capacity of a storage device required for a terminal. SOLUTION: A center device 10 is provided with both a data accumulating device 11 for accumulating data on a large number of maps related to information on different geographical locations, and a transmitting device 12 for repeatedly transmitting each map data accumulated in the data accumulating device 11 by radio signals so as to reach at least a receiving terminal 20 present in a region corresponding to each map data. The receiving terminal 20 is provided with both a receiving means for receiving the radio signals from the center device 10, and a storage means for storing the map data corresponding to at least information on the location of oneself among received map data as map data to be displayed on a display device. Therefore, the need for accumulating the data on a large number of maps on the side of the receiving terminal is eliminated. |
