PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image conversion panel that is excellent in sharpness and has less image unevenness, a method for manufacturing the panel and the radiation image photography using it. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the radiation image conversion panel which has on a support a stimulable phosphor layer containing stimulable phosphors scattered in a macromolecular resin is characterized in that the stimulable phosphor layer contains a macromolecular resin, whose glass transition point (Tg) is between 5 deg.C and -30 deg.C inclusive, of 50 mass % or more of all the macromolecular resin in the stimulable phosphor layer and a phosphor sheet to which the stimulable phosphor layer is applied and which is dried is given a compression treatment by a calendar roll at a temperature between the Tg of the macromolecular resin and the Tg of the support inclusive.
