PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion method for a diesel engine capable of improving combustion efficiency, remarkably enhancing a hauling power and the saving of fuel consumption and also reducing the exhaust amount of harmful components such as HC, CO2 or the like in an exhaust gas by simply remodeling an existing diesel engine. SOLUTION: In the combustion method for a diesel engine, since an injection nozzle is heated at a high temperature in such a state that the return fuel returning to a fuel tank 1 from an injection pump 4 and the injection nozzle 6 is stopped by a return fuel adjusting valve 8, a part of light oil fuel is injected in a gasified state from the injection nozzle into a combustion chamber to carry out complete combustion.
