摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an intake pressure sensor that forms an indispensable part together with an intake air oxygen sensor as an atmospheric pressure sensor under a specific condition in a control apparatus for an internal combustion engine provided in an intake air passageway thereof with a mechanism for purging a fuel vapor. SOLUTION: The intake air oxygen sensor 36 is disposed in the intake air passageway 20. The intake pressure sensor 40 is connected into communication with the intake air passageway 20 by way of a three-way VSV 38. The three- way VSV 38 is placed in an OFF position when the fuel vapor is purged from a canister 10 to the intake air passageway 20, thereby introducing an intake pipe pressure PM to the intake pressure sensor 40. In a condition, in which the fuel vapor is not purged, the three-way VSV 38 is placed in an ON position, thereby introducing an atmospheric pressure PA to the intake pressure sensor 40.
