PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window pane cleaning device of an elevator allowing a window pane to be cleaned without stopping the elevator and capable of realizing the extension of life of a cleaning implement. SOLUTION: A support plate 21 is installed on the rear side of a landing main door, and a through hole 21a is provided in the support plate 21 so as to expose an entire window pane 3. First, second, and third coaxial pulleys 22, 23, and 24, and a pulley 25 enclose the window pane 3, installed at the four corners of a square having two sides parallel with each other, and a drive wire 30 is tensely applied to the first and second coaxial pulleys 22 and 23. A drive wire 31 is tensely applied to the second and third coaxial pulleys 23 and 24, the drive wire 32 is tensely applied to the third coaxial pulley 24 and the pulley 25, and the drive wire 33 is tensely applied to the first coaxial pulley 22 and the drive pulley 26. The support member 34 having the cleaning implement is fixed, at both ends, to the drive wires 30 and 32, and moved vertically by the rotation of the drive pulley 26.
