PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustment mechanism for a shift device which can suppress increase of a manufacturing cost and can adjust a click feel easily. SOLUTION: This adjustment mechanism for a shift device obtains a click feel by providing a click member 12 rotated integrally with a shift lever 4 attached to the side of a car body 11 through a shift shaft 3 in capable of rotation along the front and rear direction of a vehicle and elastically bringing one end 17a of a check spring 17 extended from the side of the car body 11 into contact with a click irregular part 12a. A mounting member 18 is provided for locking the check spring 17 to a support shaft part 18a, attached to a car- body-side base bracket 13 provided on the side of the car body with a connection shaft part 18b as the rotation center to enable rotation almost along the extending direction of the click irregular part 12a, and the mounting member 18 is fixed to the car-body-side base bracket 13 with a pin member 21 with a desired rotation angle.
