PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable composing of an ABS for a vehicle, having a higher anti-lock brake control performance by a solenoid valve having a composition capable of gaining the response performance of higher opening and closing action, compared with the previous one. SOLUTION: A valve body 1 is integrally formed with a valve closing body 12, and a face 11 coming in contact with, for shutting-off the working fluid passage, is formed at the end of the valve closing body 12 by forming a spherical shape and coming in contact with a valve seat 4. The valve body 1 is integrally composed of a movable iron core 3, and inserted into a through-hole 12 bored in a fixed iron core 2, as illustrated. The movable iron core 3 is provided in the fixed iron core 2 and housed in a valve cap 62. The solenoid valve 121 is composed so that the integrated movable iron core 3 and valve body can move in the axial direction of the solenoid valve 121 in the space formed with the valve cap 62 and the through-hole 12. A coil spring 61 is compressedly set between the valve body 1 and the valve seat 4, as if maintaining the state that the face for coming in contact with, of the valve closing body 12 is left from the valve seat 4. A resin member forming the valve body 1 is made of polyetheretherketone(PEEK).
