UNDERLAYMENT MATERIAL FOR ROOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underlayment roofing material that has both distinguished water proofing quality and the moisture permeability and furthermore is excellent in sealability for nail holes and non-slip and is unlikely to stick to the sole of the workers' shoes. SOLUTION: A roofing material is characterized in that it is formed by making a lamination of at least one layer of water vapor proofing layer that has moisture permeability and water proofing quality and that contains granular inorganic substances of which grain size is between 0.1 and 1000μm upon at least one non-woven fabric layer composed of fiber of which the water repellency is 3 or more and the fineness is between 0.01 and 10 dtex. This roofing material has the resistance against hydraulic pressure of 300 mmH2 O or more and has both water proofing property and water vapor permeability of 500 g/m<2> /24 hr or more, as well as a distinguished performance of sealing the nail apertures.
