PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device enabling performance evaluation of a sheet for civil engineering works by using a small amount of sample without application of the sheet or utilization of heavy equipment. SOLUTION: The sheet used for civil engineering works is provided with a vibrator providing an evaluation method and vibration for the sheet characterized by that it fixes the sheet in a certain area and repeatedly vibrates the sheet at a constant force to evaluate burst resistance of the sheet, a jig fixing the sheet and a compressed jig providing a sheet load. It is a burst resistance valuation device for civil engineering work sheets, the compressed jig of which is formed nearly as a cone.
