PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the other restraint device operate at the best timing according to the estimated result after estimating a movement amount of an occupant in the forward and backward direction and in the horizontal direction after collision even if acceleration is in a level that only makes either one of the restraint devices in the forward and backward direction or in the horizontal direction operate at the time of the collision. SOLUTION: An acceleration sensor unit 2 detects the collision of a vehicle, forward and backward acceleration, and horizontal acceleration. A controller 1 detects head-on collision (or side face collision), and a movement amount estimating part 12 estimates the movement amount of the occupant in the forward and backward direction and the movement amount in the horizontal direction based on the acceleration. A timing control part 13 sets operation delay time Td after the one restraint device 10 (or 11) is operated until the other restraint device 11 (or 10) is operated based on the estimated movement amount in the forward and backward direction and in the horizontal direction. |
