PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening/closing device being useful for machinery that uses tap water, such as a washer, being structurally simple, and ensuring high security. SOLUTION: A door 2 is mounted to a washer body 1 in such a manner as to slide vertically for opening and closing. A hydraulic cylinder 5 pointed in the vertical direction is installed in the vicinity of the door 2 and the piston 6 of the cylinder 5 and the door 2 are connected to each other so as to shift integrally. Tap water is supplied to a lower opening 9 in the cylinder 5 via a solenoid valve 11 and the piston 6 is raised by the pressure of the tap water to open the door. To close the door, the solenoid valve is switched for draining and the door 2 is slowly lowered by its own weight. |
