PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for measuring electric power consumption, which can be downsized by scaling down a power circuit of a display terminal and downsizing the display terminal. SOLUTION: This system has a watthour meter 10 for measuring the electric power consumption and the display terminal 20 for displaying measured values by the watthour meter 10. The watthour meter 10 has a power circuit 11 for generating predetermined voltage based on voltage from an outside power source 1 and a circuit 12 for branching the secondary voltage for outputting the output voltage of the power circuit 11 as an operating power source of the watthour meter 10 and outputting the operating power source to the display terminal 20.
