PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet delivery mechanism to be used in a paper sheet carriage processor, for example, a cash dispenser, a deposit dispenser or a printer, for delivering stacked bills or printing paper sheets one by one to a carrying part, allowing the stable and reliable one-by-one separation and delivery of a variety of paper sheets without causing non-feeding or multiple feeding. SOLUTION: The first paper sheet 22 is deflected by deflecting rollers 21R, 21L so that its central portion perpendicular to the direction of carriage floats, and it is pulled away from the second paper sheet 23. The deflected first paper sheet 22 is fed to the direction of carriage by feeding rollers 25R, 25L. The multiple feeding of the second paper sheet and so on is prevented by a gate 24.
