PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overload slip device which has a small number of parts, can be easily assembled, and is inexpensive. SOLUTION: The device is constituted of a gear 3, which has a non-circular recessed part 3a in which the dimension of an inner diameter around an axial center is not constant, a power transmitting shaft 2 which has the same axial center as that of the gear 3 and a hole 2a perpendicular to the axial center, and a locking member 1, which is inserted into the hole 2a and positioned inside the non-circular recessed part 3a, and is, capable of coming into contact with an inner wall of the non-circular recessed part 3a and can be elastically deformed.
