PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article coated with an organic-inorganic composite film having such high performances as durable even when used in the outdoors and highly hard, to provide a method for producing the article coated with the organic-inorganic composite film, capable of producing the article in excellent productivity, and to provide a coating liquid composition for producing the article coated with the organic-inorganic composite film. SOLUTION: This coated article comprises a substrate and the organic -inorganic composite film which covers the surface of the substrate, has a cation atom oxide capable of forming an oxide network, and is formed by substituting organic groups for a part of oxygen atoms of the oxide, wherein the organic- inorganic composite film contains an alkali metal oxide in an amount of 0.1-30% expressed in the number of the alkali metal atoms based on the total number of the cation atoms and the alkali metal atoms.
