PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for concentrating a vinyl chloride polymer latex, which makes it possible to efficiently concentrate a vinyl chloride polymer latex to a high degree of concentration with a vibrating membrane separator at a high permeation flux over a long period of time by subjecting the vinyl chloride polymer latex to a treatment in advance. SOLUTION: The method for concentrating a vinyl chloride polymer latex is characterized in that the polymer latex is concentrated with a vibrating membrane separator after adding thereto an anionic or nonionic surfactant in an amount of 0.2-2 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the polymer of the latex, or after adjusting the pH of the latex to 7 to 10 when it has a pH of 3 to 6.
