A semi-conductor element 10 is hermetically enclosed in a casing comprising a metallic base 13 (which may be in contact with a cooling member 22) joined to a cover which has a metallic part 14 next to the base 13, another metallic part 16 above the semi-conductor element 10, and an insulating part 15 between the two metallic parts, with an electrode 18 and a pressure device (such as a stack of spring washers 19) arranged on the outside of the cover in a cap 21, which may contain a screw 21a for adjusting the pressure of the electrode 18. |
