PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent for executing antigen activation (unmasking) in an immuno-histochemical staining technique simply with excellent reproducibility. SOLUTION: A slice of tissue cells on a slide glass is warmed and pressurized or heated as long as a sufficient time by using an antigen activator set to have a proper solution concentration of CCA and a proper hydrogen ion concentration, to thereby activate antigenicity of antigen masked by aldehyde fixation. In the method, the slice of the tissue cells is immersed in CCA solution, and combination is continued as long as a sufficient time in order to activate by pressurizing and/or heating by an electric pot, an autoclave, a microwave over, boiling, or a thermostat. |
