PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reverse shift mechanism for a manual transmission to reduce the overall length of a transmission through a synchromechanism situated on an idle shaft, improve a transmission feeling, and reduce the generation of noise. SOLUTION: The reverse shift mechanism is provided with an idle shaft fixed at a transmission case; and an idle synchronizer means situated on the idle shaft and switching a state to transmit the torque of an input shaft to an output shaft during shifting between forward and reversing. |
