摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the miniaturization of an image shake correcting device cannot be performed because large friction when driving a shake compensating optical system causes the increase in the size of an actuator part. SOLUTION: The image shake correcting device includes the shake compensating optical system 2 which is driven within the plane orthogonal to the optical axis to correct image shake, a first and a second driving means 5a and 5b which give driving force toward two directions orthogonal to the optical axis to the shake compensating optical system by supplying a driving signal, a first and a second shake detecting means 8p and 8y which detect the shake in the two directions orthogonal to the optical axis, and a signal generating means 7 which generates a first and a second driving signals to be supplied to the first and the second driving means on the basis of outputs from the shake detecting means. The signal generating means superposes micromotion signals which has the same frequency with each other and different phases to the first and the second driving signals for the purpose of producing the prescribed amount of minute vibrations in the shake compensating optical system.
