PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleeve and a thrust plate made of copper alloy with an excellent abrasion-resistant property in a dynamic pressure bearing. SOLUTION: The sleeve and the thrust plate for dynamic pressure bearing are constituted by a copper alloy containing Zn: 30-40 mass %, Al: 0.1-0.5 mass %, a sum of one kind or two kinds of Ti and Si: 0.1-1.0 mass %, a sum of one kind or two kinds or more of Fe, Ni and Co: 0.3-1.0 mass %, if necessary, one kind or two kinds or more of V, Zr, Nb, Mo, Sn and Cr: 0.01-0.2 mass % and/or Te: 0.01-0.5 mass % and a remainder comprising Cu and inevitable impurities. The copper alloy has a composition that the inevitable impurities are less than 0.5 mass % and an organization in which hard particles of 5μm or less are uniformly dispersed in the base metal.
