SILICONE EMULSION COMPOSITION AND COSMETIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone emulsion composition which has a good storage stability, is capable of developing intrinsic characteristics of silicone fully and when used in a hair cosmetic, does not hurt its properties and a cosmetic using the same. SOLUTION: The silicone emulsion composition contains (A) 100 pts.wt. of polyorganosiloxane, (B) 10-200 pts.wt. of (a) a nonionic surfactant and (b) an ampholytic surfactant of a carboxylic acid type and (C) 20-400 pts.wt. of water. The weight ratio (a)/(b) is 1/20-1/0.1. A cosmetic containing the silicone emulsion composition is also provided.
