PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display panel which is capable of improving alignment accuracy in assembling with large-sized substrates. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the liquid crystal panel including a process step of performing alignment in bonding of an array substrate including at least switching elements, color filter layers, light shielding layers and transparent electrode films and a counter substrate 12 including at least the transparent electrodes 14 facing the array substrate, in which the process step of performing the alignment is performed by collation of the alignment markers of the metals or resin films formed in the process step of manufacturing at least any among the switching elements, the color filter layers and the light shielding layers and a second alignment markers 16(17) formed of conductive paint materials in a process step of applying a conductive paint onto the counter substrate 12.
