PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and surely improve watertightness in a position where a wainscot is mounted, without complicated execution work. SOLUTION: The wainscot 10 is provided with a wainscot external face material 12 and a wainscot mounting member 30. The wainscot mounting member 30 is in the form of a band plate, a part of a mounting strip material 37, which is mounted to the rear face of the wainscot external face material 12 along the outer circumferential edge of the wainscot external face material 12, is overhung externally along the outer circumferential edge of the wainscot external face material 12 in the mounting state to the wainscot 10, and is provided with an overhanging part 32 to be arranged and fixed to the base of a joint at the time of execution of the wainscot 10 and an adhesive sealing material 31 to be applied for a position of the rear face of the wainscot external face material 12 and the surface of the mounting strip material 37.
