PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lightweight banking structure of sloping ground, which is equipped with adequate stability without making a support or an anchor, serving as a structural material, provided on the side of a vertical surface of a lightweight banking material in execution of lightweight banking. SOLUTION: The lightweight banking structure of the sloping ground serves as a top-heavy structure wherein a road layer 10 or 21 composed of a concrete floor slab, a road bed, pavement, etc., is installed on top of an installed resin foam layer 4a or 20a. The lightweight banking structure is constructed not only so that a distance B2 on an undersurface part from the vertical surface of the lightweight banking structure to an inclined surface thereof and a distance B1 on a top surface part serving as a top surface of the road layer 10 or 21 can satisfy the expression B2/B1>=0.32 but also so that the distance B1 and a height H of the vertical surface of the lightweight banking structure can satisfy the expression B1/H>=0.32.
