PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smooth a weft feeding movement and to prevent a length measuring drum and a feed drum from mutually interacting. SOLUTION: This apparatus for storing and measuring the weft length is characterized by connecting the length-measuring drum and the feed drum through a stretchable elastic member connected by extending the space between the both drums in the circumferential direction at two or more points to either of the length-measuring drum and the feed drum and at one or more points to the other of the length-measuring drum and the feed drum.
