PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and economically manufacture an arbitrary-shaped ceramic nozzle which is used in an arc welding environment. SOLUTION: A shield nozzle is structured by providing a layer consisting of a ceramic cement 7 formed by making a porous thin film (core material 5, 15) immersed in or coated with a liquid, for which a ceramic powder (including pulverized monocrystal, glass, sintered body, etc., besides powders to the raw material) is kneaded with a binder, and by making the film dried and fixed. As a gas shield nozzle, it only needs to withstand for a long time against a high temperature environment or a thermal shock near the arc, to have some mechanical strength and to have the ability of shielding so that no ambient atmosphere is mixed in the shield nozzle; perfectly sintered sturdy ceramics as ordinarily used are not necessarily needed.
